Blood Donation and Conservation

Launching of blood donation vehicles painted with Leopard Cats to enhance the awareness of animal protection among the general public.

The Taichung Blood Center has produced various souvenirs (Leopard Cat charms, backpack, beverage carrier, annual notebook, and calendar) as blood donation souvenirs. Through the cute figure of the Leopard Cat, the Center aimed to enhance the public’s awareness of animal conservation. A series of colorful paintings of the Leopard Cat family can be seen on the vehicles at the fixed sites in Taichung City, strengthening the public's awareness of animal conservation.

Pioneered the collaboration with the Taiwan Black Bear Conservation Association, combining conservation and public blood donation.

In collaboration with the Taiwan Black Bear Conservation Association, the Kaohsiung Blood Center gives out cute blood donation souvenirs designed with the image of the Association's mascot, "Heybo”, each year. The precious and rare Formosan black bear is used as the endorsement for blood donation, so each blood donor is a witness of their blood donation. The adorable black bear can easily spread the concept of bear conservation, creating a plentiful blood supply.。
