Blood donation on LINE: 1st LINE account for a non-profit organization

TBSF has established an official account of "Love to Donate Blood" on Line, internationally-renowned communication software, as the only tool in the world to use the communication software platform to provide smart inquiries and promotion. LINE coverage rate in Taiwan exceeds 90%. Using the most popular communication software in Taiwan makes our services more efficiency and timely compared to other countries using self-developed APPs. Donation-related messages, questions, and donation locations can now be received on LINE, while blood donors can enjoy customized services without opening any other app.

The "Love to Donate Blood" official account's smart customer service is the first of its kind in the world, providing top functions. its three major functions include "smart inquiry", "personalized notification" and the ability to send "emergency mobilization orders." The establishment of the "Love to Donate Blood" official account not only serves blood donors across Taiwan, but also provides a real-time, customized, and privacy-protected consultation platform to quickly resolve common blood donation problems common to Taiwanese people. More than 99.5% of blood donation related questions can be solved in real time with one click on LINE, making "blood donation" easier. This also solves the problem of blood donation information confusion and eliminates the spread of false blood donation concepts.

Facebook Blood Donation Intelligence Station

TBSF and Facebook have officially launched the "Facebook Blood Donation Intelligence Station" service in Taiwan, becoming the first country in East Asia to facilitate the "Blood Donation Intelligence Station” service.

Facebook is the most used social media platform in Taiwan, with 19 million monthly active users, accounting for 80% of the total number of people in the country; Facebook has launched the Blood Donation Intelligence Station service since 2017, which, through Facebook's matchmaking technology, lets Facebook users who have signed up for the feature know clearly about blood shortages and where they can go to donate blood. Where there is shortage of blood supply or due to seasonal increase in blood consumption, the "Blood Donation Intelligence Station" sends out notifications to Facebook users and provides information on nearby blood donation locations. This is highly effective in publicizing and promoting blood donation.

The Blood Center will be notified of blood donation activities on Facebook/Instagram.

Regular posting of daily blood donation drives along with the Blood Donation Intelligence Station to make it easier for the public to find answers to blood donation sites, blood donation locations, and blood donation must-knows. This way, the donors can get a quicker response and donate blood with peace of mind.
