Reuse of Medical Waste
Turn medical waste into renewable resources for secondary use
To implement energy conservation and carbon reduction, reduce the total amount of biomedical waste, and respond to the concept of resource reuse, promoting a circular economy, our organization has initiated a Biomedical Waste Reuse Program since 2017. This program aims to reduce air pollution caused by incineration and promote resource reuse. It also helps to decrease the costs associated with medical waste disposal and the air, soil, and water pollution caused by dioxins from incineration, furnace slag, and ash. In line with the government's resource recycling and reuse policies, reducing incineration effectively minimizes the production of toxic substances, achieving the goal of environmental protection and love for the planet.
Recyclable materials are sterilized with high-temperature, high-pressure steam and processed into plastic fragments, which are then used by plastic companies to produce non-polluting industrial products, achieving the purpose and value of resource recycling. This approach reduces air pollution caused by the incineration of medical waste, embodies the concept of environmental protection, and achieves sustainable resource utilization.
