    By participating in international organizations (e.g., Asia Pacific Blood Network [APBN]), TBSF keeps abreast of the latest international trends and innovative practices of blood organizations in advanced nations. Each year, TBSF delegates personnel to attend the two major international conferences hosted by the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) and the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT). In doing so, we absorb cutting-edge research in transfusion medicine, present our latest research findings, and share Taiwan's experiences in international symposiums.
