Promotion of patient blood management

Patient blood management is an evidence-based and multi-specialty team approach that preserves and optimizes the systemic blood volume of patients. Patient blood management has become the mainstream strategy for patient care in advanced countries of transfusion medicine. For many years, we have been committed to a safe blood supply to ensure the safety of clinical use. At the same time, we have further protected the safety of blood transfusion patients based on evidence. The "Guidelines for Patient Blood Management" published by the National Blood Authority of Australia is specially translated into Chinese. The contents are reviewed by domestic experts in the field, compiled, and distributed to the medical community in the hopes of introducing and promoting patient blood management.
