However, while efforts to avoid gatherings made it extremely difficult to hold blood drives, it was the generosity of companies, community groups, individuals—and the willingness of people to roll up their sleeves and donate blood—that provided the warmth needed to keep these activities going. "Tudigong's Blessing" Zi Nan Temple_Complete Version│TTaiwan Blood Services Foundation

Video Description:Nantou’s Zhushan Zinan Temple is Taiwan’s most popular God of Wealth temple. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it was at times impossible to hold large-scale religious events, while blood bank inventories also dropped to critical levels. For ten consecutive years, Zinan Temple has remained tireless in organizing blood drives—a passionate effort that motivated devoted worshippers to keep donating even amid the pandemic. In 2021 (the 110th year of the ROC calendar), the temple hosted 175 blood drives, collecting a total of 11,608,500 milliliters of blood. This achievement not only secured its fifth consecutive year as the top fundraiser under the Taichung Blood Center’s jurisdiction, but also cemented its status as the temple collecting the highest volume of blood nationwide. Good deeds bring good fortune: those who donate blood to save lives naturally attract blessings in return.
