Blood Donation Education

Parent-child learning

In order to cultivate the younger generation, we hope to learn about blood donation through games and experience the interaction between volunteers and blood donors. By doing so, the children are able to understand the handling process of donated blood before it is sent to the hospital for use by patients, as well as the way of how blood is stored and the temperature, and so on.

"Blood Lessons for Little Adults" a general life education course for teenagers

Blood can sustain life and save others. In order to enable more young people to understand blood knowledge and the history of blood donation, in 2023, the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation created the first blood knowledge illustrated book tailored for young people in Taiwan, "Blood Lessons for Little Adults". This book helps young people understand the information on blood donation and the importance of donating blood in an illustrated and easy-to-understand manner, and is co-published by Education, Parenting, Family Lifestyle.

The publication of the new book "Little Adult’s Blood Lesson" and the press conference for World Blood Donor Day concluded with a group photo of guests and nearly 60 teachers, students, and parents, hoping that the vision of blood donation taking root will gradually be realized.
