Support of presidents

Past presidents, including Lee Teng-Hui, Chen Shui-Bian, and Ma Ying-Jeou, have all publicly advocated for blood donation campaign and have encouraged people to donate blood by rolling their sleeves to give blood.
The current Vice President, Lai Ching-Te, and the current and local chief executives, such as Hsu Ming-Tsai and Hou Yu-Ih, also donate blood on a regular basis. In times of blood shortage, these public figures spared no effort in assisting in raising blood.
