The event was jointly organized by CSL Behring Taiwan (the distributor of the national blood products), the Taiwan Society of Hematology, and the Taiwan Rheumatology Association.
During the symposium, a concurrent event was held to celebrate the “Second-Generation National Blood Product Yikang” Immunoglobulin Privigen TW and its one-year anniversary on the market. Chairman Sheng-Mao Hou and CEO Tsung-Hsi Wang of the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation were invited to attend. In his speech at the launch ceremony, Chairman Hou expressed his hope that medical professionals would continue to support the “National Blood for National Use” policy, to validate the clinical value of national blood products through evidence-based applications, and to further promote social participation and blood donation awareness. This ensures that more patients will receive the best possible care through our collective efforts. He sincerely invited participants to become advocates and guardians of “National Blood for National Use,” jointly safeguarding the sustainability and safety of Taiwan’s healthcare system.
