Achieve the win-win goal of raising blood and reducing carbon emissions.

In response to the extreme weather and serious air pollution, the government has set the net zero emission target by 2050, of which the electrification of vehicles has become the focus of efforts in the field of transportation. As the only non-profit blood donation organization in Taiwan, the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation shoulders the important responsibility of protecting the safety of blood donors and recipients, and is committed to maintaining the quality and supply of blood products for medical demand. In addition to blood donation, we also adhere to the dual spirit of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. We follow various government policies and international trends to formulate the development policy of an environmentally friendly blood donation team to demonstrate the practice of the blood donation for public welfare.

In order to effectively solve the problems of noise and exhaust gas generated by the movement of diesel blood donation vehicles or blood collection operations, we actively cooperated with other enterprises or associations. Over the course of time, we have built a number of fixed-site electrically-powered blood donation vehicles, namely: “Gong Yuan”, “Emei”, “Xiongshi”, “Mitsukoshi Taipei Station”, “Xinzhuang”, “Zhonghe”, “Tucheng”, “Luodong Wanlian”, “Zhubei”, “Taichung Park”, “Mitsukoshi”, “Zhongshan”, and “Renhe”. In addition to building drag-type and electrically-powered blood donation vehicles, namely: “Xiao Ying”, “Rotary Flying 1”, and “Rotary Inspiration 1” in the past three years, we further built the all-electric blood donation vehicles, namely: "Fubon" and hybrid blood donation vehicles "Rotary Wonderful 1" and "Qiqin Jianshe". We are dedicated to promoting the dual concepts of saving lives and caring for the earth through the transformation of blood donation vehicles into environmentally friendly vehicles. By doing this, we raise the people's attention to voluntary non-remunerated blood donation and sustainable environmental protection, and extend blood donation to the sustainable development of enterprises, achieving a win-win goal of blood collection and green energy and carbon reduction.

Future Outlook

Short-Term Goals

To ensure a balanced supply of blood for medical demand, fixed-site and drag-type and electrically-powered blood donation vehicles were added to reduce the number of trips of the diesel blood donation vehicles.

Medium- and Long-Term Goals

To combine the efforts of the company, associations, and the public to gradually replace diesel blood donation vehicles with all-electric blood donation vehicles.

Fulfill of Sustainability Goals and Hope for Common Good in Society

Committed to maintaining the quality and supply of blood for medical demand.

With the eco-friendly blood donation fleet, we are committed to creating a friendly blood donation environment and a sustainable future through energy conservation and carbon reduction.
