Multi-communication initiatives - World's highest blood donation rate

From paid blood trading to voluntary blood donation to 100% self-sufficiency in blood for medical use, the continuous promotion of TBSF for more than four decades has made the concept of blood donation deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and supported by all walks of life and the general public. Since its inception, we have conveyed the concept of voluntary blood donation to the public from multiple angles. In 1991, the national blood donation rate exceeded 50‰ for the first time, making us one of the advanced countries in the blood donation industry. In 2021, the national blood donation rate reached 77.6‰, ranking first in the world, is the highlight of Taiwan.
